Domain Registration Policy

This Domain Registration Policy explains how lenzhost manages domain registration, transfer, renewal, and ownership for clients. It should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. Domain Ownership

• Domains registered by lenzhost on your behalf are registered in your legal name. You are the registrant of record.
• lenzhost acts solely as registrar/reseller and manages the technical registration and DNS configuration.
• You retain full ownership of the domain at all times.
• You may request a transfer of your domain to another registrar at any time.

2. Domain Registration

• You may register a domain through our website at https://lenzhost.co.za/domains/.
• Registration prices and terms are displayed on our website and are subject to availability.
• Domain registration fees are for one year unless otherwise stated.
• Registration is subject to the rules of the relevant domain registry.

2.1 Registration Pricing

Full pricing for all extensions is available on our Domains page. Prices are in ZAR and subject to change with reasonable notice.

3. Domain Transfers

• You may transfer an existing domain to lenzhost. Transfer fees are displayed on our website.
• Transfers may take 5–7 business days depending on the losing registrar.
• We will assist with the transfer process at no additional charge.
• Transfers are subject to the rules of the relevant registry.

4. Renewals

• Domains must be renewed annually. Renewal prices are displayed on our website and may differ from registration prices.
• We will send a renewal reminder before your domain's expiry date.
• If a domain is not renewed before expiry, it may be suspended, parked, or released by the registry.
• lenzhost is not responsible for domain loss due to non-renewal.

5. DNS and Configuration

• DNS setup is included with domain registration.
• You may request DNS changes at any time by contacting support.
• Advanced DNS configurations (custom records, subdomains, email routing) are included as part of standard support.
• You can also manage DNS directly through cPanel if you prefer to make changes yourself.

6. Refunds

• Domain registration fees are non-refundable once a domain is registered.
• Domain transfer fees are non-refundable unless the transfer fails due to our error.
• Renewal fees are non-refundable once a renewal is processed.
