Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using lenzhost's hosting, email, website design, domain, and related services. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our services to:

• Host, distribute, or link to malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Send spam or unsolicited bulk email
• Host phishing, fraud, or scam content
• Distribute illegal material, including child exploitation material
• Violate intellectual property rights (copyright, trademarks)
• Attempt to compromise network security or gain unauthorised access
• Consume excessive server resources that affect other users
• Host adult content, gambling, or weapons-related content without prior written approval
• Engage in any activity that is unlawful in South Africa or the jurisdiction of the user

2. Email Use

• Business email accounts must not be used for bulk email marketing without proper consent and opt-out mechanisms.
• You must not send email that violates anti-spam laws (including POPIA and GDPR).
• We may limit email sending volumes to protect deliverability for all clients.

3. Resource Usage

• Hosting plans have fair-use limits. Accounts that consume excessive resources may be suspended or asked to upgrade.
• "Unlimited" storage and bandwidth are subject to fair use. This excludes, for example, using hosting as file storage or backup.

4. Security

• You must keep account passwords secure and not share login credentials.
• You must promptly report any suspected security breach to support@lenzhost.co.za.
• You may not attempt to bypass security measures or access systems you are not authorised to access.

5. Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate any account that violates this policy
• Remove content that violates this policy
• Report illegal activity to the relevant authorities
• Refuse service to any client at our discretion

Suspension or termination for AUP violations does not entitle you to a refund.
